INTRODUCTION

In 2023 Recently, Samsung announced its latest flagship phone Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Galaxy S23 Ultra Comes with S pen support and all the latest unique feature. 

Although it’s not identical to the model before, it is a step up from the previous model. S23 Ultra improves a few essentials to make it a top-of-the-line smartphone. This year’s most significant improvement will be the 200-megapixel primary camera, which promises prints-worthy quality in your photos and better night photography. The S23 Ultra has impressive 10X optical zoom features. 

It’s also a significant change that is a major shift for Samsung. Samsung used to provide models in other countries with its own Exynos processor. This method was criticized by many as the chips were less potent than the Snapdragon processors that are used in US. Models. However, since the S23 Ultra, the entire range has the identical Snapdragon processor regardless of where they’re sold. Are these upgrades enough to warrant the upgrade? Let’s find out.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S23 ULTRA DESIGN

You can see some differences in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra style. The back camera is more significant than the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and the screen is more rounded. It’s still a soft curve to the 6.8-inch display, and you’ll also have a more slim curve thanks to the larger surface area that makes using the S Pen a bit more comfortable.

Some people prefer a flat-looking design; however, when I hold my S23 Ultra, the curve gives it a high-end feeling. Finding things with your fingers along the edges of the screen may be challenging. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is the first smartphone with Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for front and back from drops and scratches. Phantom Black, Green, Cream, and Lavender are the four colors of Galaxy S23 Ultra. It’s important to note that S23 Ultra has a SIM card slot, not on iPhone 14 Pro Max. iPhone 14 Pro Max is situated in the lower part of the phone.

Samsung has praised the environmental friendliness that the S23 Ultra’s style offers because the company is using more recycled components in the phone. It includes recycled fishing nets used to make the S Pen the inner cover and the bottom module for speakers, as well as recycled barrels of water for the volume and side keys, key, and recycled aluminum for its SIM tray. It weighs 8.2 pounds and measures 6.4 3.0 x 3.0 and 0.35 inches. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is slightly larger than S22 Ultra, considering that the flagship weights 8.08 ounces.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S23 ULTRA DISPLAY

The Galaxy S23 Ultra has one of the top displays of any smartphone. It’s bright, vibrant, and packed with colors and did exceptionally excellently in the display section. Its display has more colors, reaching 112 percent of the DCI-P3 color spectrum in Natural mode, as opposed to 83% on the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra also uses an advanced Vision Booster feature to adapt the display’s color and contrast according to lighting conditions. Additionally, there’s an eye-comfort feature that makes it easier to view the display.

CAMERA

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 200MP camera, the first flagship phone to use a 200mMP camera. Samsung claims this camera will produce poster-sized prints. There are also other advantages of owning a wide-angle, powerful camera. Its adaptive pixel sensor will make 16 pixels one bigger Pixel for more bright and precise photos, mainly when lighting is low.

A 200MP camera will also let you reduce the size of the image after shooting to create a new-look photo without losing any quality.  Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra has a new front camera with a resolution of 12MP, technically a decrease from the S22 Ultra‘s selfie camera, which has 40MP. But Samsung promises better overall portraits due to improved A.I. and an impressive night portrait mode.

Galaxy S23 Ultra has two 10MP telephoto sensors with 10x and 3x optical zoom with a powerful 30x digital zoom. A 100x Space Zoom option is also offered, though the results may be unreliable. We’re talking about zooming; there’s no competition between the S23 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro cameras. Samsung’s photo of the Chrysler Building at 30x is much sharper. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max can only be used at 15x, so it can’t beat this shot.

The bokeh effect can be aggressive, blurring the trees, but you can change this. The iPhone 14 Pro is too warm. However, Pixel 7 Pro is a lot cooler. 

The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s colors are saturated. The difference in the image of the iPhone is that its picture blurs out background images. At the same time, the Pixel How do the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s cameras do in low-light conditions? Well, it’s good, even if it sometimes beats its competitors. S23 Ultra’s image is brighter. S23 Ultra’s image is better than the neon sign because it’s red than orange.

Its S23 Ultra is more vibrant than Pixel; however, Google’s phone has produced more natural-looking colors. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra fell slightly in dim light. The zoom of 100x highlights lighter and darker spots on the moon’s surface; it’s like having the ability to carry a telescope inside your pocket. Other camera improvements are available, including additional features like an Astro hyper-lapse mode to take videos of the motion of stars, enhanced autofocus, and a multi-exposure mode to blend multiple images into one.

VIDEO

In the video section, The Galaxy S23 Ultra uses more video stabilization. The video recording is now up to 8K at 30 frames per second (up from 24 FPS) with a greater recording angle (between 57 and the 80-degree angle). As everybody is making massive announcements about image stabilization. 

Its S23 Ultra is the best in this category and has relatively smooth video, while the Pixel 7 Pro looks washed out. The Samsung video appears more vibrant and colorful. With the optical zoom of 10x in the S23 Ultra, I could reach nearer than Mike without losing any detail. The Zoom mic was also activated and jarring as the music got louder; however, it worked. 

SOFTWARE

Based on Android 13 and the latest One UI 5.1 software for the Galaxy S23 Ultra offers several valuable enhancements. For instance, it comes with Bixby Text Call, a Samsung assistant that can take calls on your behalf and relay messages using speech-to-text or voice typing. Witnessing the Bixby feature working is exciting, but callers may be scared when they first encounter this.

The Modes option allows you to create custom settings for various aspects of your daily life, such as exercise, sleep and driving, and work. There are also more personalized features available in One UI 5.1, including the improved stacking widget system and the recommended apps and actions to use at various periods of the day. Based on my experience, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is the most reliable Android phone you can purchase and also makes an excellent case for being the top phone in general.

S-PEN

Apart from reducing the curve displayed for more comfortable S Pen use, there aren’t any significant improvements to S Pen features for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. It’s still an excellent instrument for making notes, drawing, and sketching. It’s also helpful to edit photos or scroll through a book.

If your screen is locked on you when taking notes or taking notes, tap your S Pen button to unlock the screen to avoid entering a password, fingerprint, or other. Still, you need to configure this in the settings. 

PERFORMANCE

The Galaxy S23 Ultra features the exclusive Qualcomm version of its latest chip,” the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Samsung promises that the processor can offer faster clock speeds than its standard chip version and go as high as 3.36 GHz. Samsung also claims to have the most powerful mobile graphics on phones and Galaxy S23 Ultra benchmarks, and the results are impressive. 

This phone is also highly responsive when you use the app switcher, swiping into and out of open apps. How about actual gameplay? The S23 Ultra was never slowing down. In addition, I didn’t see that the device was getting hot, even after one hour. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has the largest Vapour Cooling Chamber for heat consumption; you’ll see better long-term performance and less heat.

SOUND

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra speaker system is your traditional hybrid system that connects the earpiece to the bottom speaker to form a stereo pair. There is no transfer of frequencies between one and the other, meaning that each speaker plays only its channel. The earpiece sounds more powerful than the speaker on the bottom. It switches channels on the fly to match the phone’s spatial orientation, and the earpiece is given the left channel when in the vertical direction.

BATTERY

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra offers the same battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh as its predecessor, the S22 Ultra. However, Samsung has made the phone more efficient by using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

However, Samsung sticks with the same 45W fast charger used in its S23 Ultra. Given that the OnePlus 11 is expected to offer up to 80W within the USA and 100W charging everywhere else, we’d like to see this grow. The S23 Ultra achieved 57% within 30 minutes, lower than Samsung’s 65%.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S23 ULTRA PRICE

The initial price is $1,199 or PS1,249 or $1,949 for 256GB of storage. This is double the storage capacity offered by Galaxy S22 Ultra. Galaxy S22 Ultra is excellent news, but the UK pricing for the .K. and AU price is PS100 100 more or AU$100 higher than the S22 Ultra cost. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is available in 512GB and 256GB versions. Galaxy S23 Ultra is also available with 512GB storage for $TBD/PS1,399/AU$2,249 and 1 T.B. storage at $TBD / PS1,599 for $2,649.
