iQOO Communication Technology Co.Ltd is a Chinese company based in Dongguan, Guangdong, making consumer electronics. The business started on January 30, 2019, as a branch of Vivo, a company in the same city that makes consumer gadgets.

The second-largest smartphone maker in the world, BBK Electronics, added iQOO as a sub-brand of Vivo in March 2019. It joined Oppo, Vivo, Realme, and OnePlus as BBK Electronics’s smartphone brands. The brand came out in India in February 2020.

The iQOO sub-brand also focuses on performance, making and marketing phones that are better for games and other jobs requiring much power. This differs from Vivo phones, which mainly focus on picture and sound quality.
