The Infinix Note 8 is more extensive, with a size of 6.95 inches. On the front is a big screen with a hole for dual selfie cameras. The call speaker, also one of the audio speakers, is also found here. The device is made of polycarbonate. It has a glossy back panel with a geometric design that makes it feel high-end and stylish.
The volume buttons and the fingerprint reader, which also works as the sleep/wake button, are on the left side. The buttons work well, but the volume rockers could be a lot easier to get to. On the right side is the triple card tray, which has places for two nano-SIM cards and a microSD card. You will get a speaker grille at the bottom and a microphone for making calls.
The enormous 6.95-inch HD+ IPS Infinity-O screen on the Infinix Note 8 has a resolution of 720 x 1640. Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 is put on the screen to protect it. Still, it’s okay for casual use if you look at every pixel. The top brightness is only 480 nits, so it can sometimes be hard to read outside.
A MediaTek Helio G80 processor and a Mali G52 GPU work together to power the Infinix Note 8. The performance of Note 8 is buttery smooth for everyday use, but when you play games with a lot of graphics, you notice a few frame drops and some lags. The Helio G80 chipset might not be the fastest in the mid-range group, but it can handle light to moderate tasks.
The Note 8 uses XOS 7.1, an Android skin that Infinix created based on Android 10. You will find it hard to use because there are so many game ads. Once you know your way around the OS, the UI is easy to use. Apps like Google Suite and tools made by Infinix, like XNote, Palm Store, File Manager, and Phone Manager, are already on the phone.
There are six cameras on the back of the Infinix Note 8. On the back, you get four cameras 64 MP + 2MP + 2MP +2MP. There is a 16 MP selfie camera and a 2 MP depth sensor on the front of the phone. In general, the photos made with the Note 8 are fine but nothing special. All of the colors are true and clear. In normal picture mode, it does an excellent job of keeping the details.
Still, when we used the 64MP sensor to its full potential, we didn’t notice a big difference in quality. Also, HDR is there, but it could be better. The Note 8 can record up to 2K video at 30 frames per second. At the highest resolution, movies are clear, and the colors are bright and accurate. There is neither visual nor digital image stabilization, so if your hands are shaky, you should get a tripod or a mobile stabilizer. In general, the image clarity of the Note 8 is good enough for social media.
The Note 8 has 128GB, but you can only use 112 GB. You can also get a storage expansion feature to add more storage space with a microSD card that can hold up to 2TB.
The Infinix Note 8 has a fingerprint reader and a face unlock system which use a camera that can recognize your face. Both of these safety tools are easy to set up. The fingerprint reader almost always works right away. Facial recognition also works as it should, but we suggest using your fingerprint on any device as security.
It has two speaker grills for stereo sounds, one on top and one on the bottom for sound. The speakers are loud because they are stereo and support DTS music and also they are more immersive than regular speakers. The sound can be muddy and tinny, and there’s no bottom, but it can quickly fill a room at total volume.
It has Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, a radio, USB Type-C 2.0, and USB On-The-Go. Fingerprint (mounted on the side) with accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass are some of the devices.
The Note 8 device has a 5,200mAh lithium polymer battery that can be charged quickly with an 18W charger. This device can last a whole day, even if you play games, use cellular data to browse the web, and take 2K videos.
