Regarding the XOS, I’ve made a lot of negative remarks. It’s one of the worst skins for Android, and something needs to be done about it. Infinix has been offering good phones at reasonable prices. Still, I hesitated to suggest their phones because of the software. The MediaTek Helio G99 doesn’t allow 5G connectivity, so you must stick with 4G. The Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G is also a good smartphone for games and day-to-day use, but Infinix charges a lot for what it offers.

Camera

A big part of any smartphone is its camera. The Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G has a main camera with 108MP, a depth camera with 2MP, and a 2MP QVGA camera. On the front, there is a 16MP camera for taking selfies. The front and back cameras can take 1440p/30 frames per second movies. It doesn’t have OIS, so it mainly uses EIS. The EIS doesn’t work well because it rests on software. We all know XOS is good, but the EIS doesn’t work well.

The 108MP is just for show; it doesn’t give you 108MP pictures. When the lighting is good, it takes pictures that look pretty good. Sometimes, the dynamic range causes problems, but if you take two or three shots, you might get one that looks good. The camera app that comes with the device has a lot of built-in effects and a mode for use at night. 

Regarding the 16MP front cameras, beauty mode is turned on by default, and you can’t change it. Remember to consider the natural colors when taking pictures with the front camera. When you take a selfie in low light, the picture will be bright, clear, and noisy.
