The design style of the Infinix Note 7 is new. The company has ditched the idea of putting the back camera in a straight line in favor of this round design that looks more expensive. The device is made of plastic, and all three colors—Forest Green, Aether Black, and Bolivia Blue—have a shiny, high-end look. The design of different colors on the back makes it look better, but it also makes it easy to get dirty. All other buttons are where you would expect them to be, except for the second speaker, which is locked near the earpiece. The fingerprint reader for unlocking the phone on the side of the phone is also the power button. 

Display

We were hoping for an HD+ screen at this price point, but the 6.95-inch, 720 x 1640-pixel HD screen with 258ppi doesn’t look like enough on paper for a big screen, but it’s a great way to watch videos.  The produce colors on HD Display are good, and the contrast is also proper in the middle. On such a big screen, the notch doesn’t get in the way but can be turned off in the settings. 

At the whole light, the screen looks good inside and isn’t too bad outside. The only time this is different is when you use the camera app in bright sunlight, which makes it harder to see through. The sun doesn’t make it easy to play games or watch movies. Overall, the screen makes whatever you show on it feel right there with you.

Hadware & Software

The Infinix Note 7 phone’s Octa-core (2 GHz, Dual core, Cortex A75 + 1.7 GHz, Hexa Core, Cortex A55) MediaTek Helio G70 gives you a smooth performance. The Infinix Note 7 also has an operating system called Android v10. When playing games like PUBG or Asphalt 9, the Note 7 doesn’t get rid of all the apps in memory for no reason, which isn’t the case with its other models. Camera

Infinix Note 7 offers us a quad-camera setup in a circular layout. The primary camera has a resolution of 48MP, and there is also a 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP video camera. On the other hand, a 16MP picture camera is inside the hole on the front of the phone.

The usual “AI CAM” mode takes pictures at 12MP unless you use the toggle key to switch to the full 48MP. The 12Mp images are good enough, with natural colors and decent detail. It has a zoom that goes up to 8X and works well in daylight. At 2x and 5x, the loss of information seems pretty, but it doesn’t look good after that. Both cameras can record video in 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Storage & Security

The eMMC 5.1 storage device is built into the Note 7. The phone comes in 3 different types: 4/64GB, 4/128GB, and 6/128 GB. You can also use the MicroSD card slot to add more space. 

All the protection options include a fingerprint scanner and a face unlock option. We like using fingerprint readers to unlock phones because it’s safer than face open.

Multimedia & Connectivity

This phone has two speakers, one at the bottom and one on the top part that is locked. There could be a better mix between the bass and treble, and it’s not very loud, either. Having two speakers is good because the other can still work if one gets blocked. But if you have a pair of headphones with built-in DTS sound, you can enjoy some excellent sound quality.
