Nothing Phone (2a) l Dual-Camera l MediaTek Dimensity 7200 CPU: Many people have been discussing a cheap Nothing Phone (2a), and now a new leak shows us what it might look like. Google’s Dylan Roussel shared a video sketch on Twitter/X that shows a possible camera setup that differs from the original Nothing Phone.
The sketch shows that the Phone (2a) has a horizontal camera section in the middle of the back that looks like it has two lenses. This is different from the other phones that Nothing has made.
Another Twitter user who first said that the Phone (2a) existed shared a test picture of the dual-camera setup with an LED light, which gave the tip more weight. This design choice makes it clear that the Phone (2a) is a less expensive option from Nothing, which may be necessary for some.
Around the camera, three Glyph LED light strips are illuminated. These are much smaller than the ones on the Phone (1) and Phone (2). The LED light still works with app alerts and connections, just like the Phone (2).
The Phone (2a) will likely have the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, an eight-core chip announced earlier this year. It has six Cortex-A510 and two Cortex-A715 cores that can go as fast as 2.8GHz. The gadget also has a Mali G610 MC4 GPU to handle graphics.
The leak also calls the Phone (2a) by the codename “Pacman,” which is a classic video game name that Nothing has used for their phones in the past (Phone (1) was called “Spacewar” and Phone (2) was called “Pong”).
