Design & Display
The mobile device’s screen is 6.53 inches in size and uses an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It has a resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels. To safeguard the display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 has been applied to it. The Redmi 9 measures 164.90 millimeters in height, 77.07 millimeters in width, and 9.00 millimeters in thickness, weighing 196.00 grams. Carbon Black, Sporty Orange, and Sky Blue were the first color options available when it was initially released.

The Redmi 9 has an eight-core MediaTek Helio G35 CPU. The system memory is 4 GB. The Redmi 9 runs MIUI 12, a skin on top of Android 10 with 64GB of built-in storage and support for microSD cards up to 512GB in capacity.
