INTRODUCTION
Vivo Pad was introduced on April 11, 2022. Although this may be Vivo’s first Android tablet, it is hard to say if it compares to other tablets in the market. Its dual rear cameras, 120Hz screen resolution, and fast charging tech could make it stand out from its many contemporaries.
VIVO PAD DESIGN & CAMERA
Vivo designed its CNC-machined unibody tablet in the same thin-and-light lines of those brands. (This is not just a coincidence, as all three are under BBK electronics). This Pad is a step ahead, with its dual 13+8MP rear cameras located in a circular module on the rear panel (finished in blue or black).
A single 8MP front-facing camera is also available. Still, it can only record 1080p/30fps, while the primary rear shooter can record up to 4K/30fps.
DISPLAY
Its 16:10 display measures 11 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 2560×1600, as you would expect from the many leaks. It is LCD. However, it can also refresh at up to 120Hz and supports HDR10 and the DCI-P3 color gamut.
HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
As expected, this Vivo Pad is powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC (though 5G connectivity is not mentioned). This will drive an Android version called OriginOS HD. This tablet-optimized Vivo software skin is loaded with many first-party tweaks. You also get WPS Office and other productivity-focused apps pre-loaded out of the box. It has 8GB Ram and 128 & 256 GB Rom
SOUND & BATTERY
The Vivo Pad has quad speakers with Dolby atmos, a USB Type-C port, NFC, and an 8,040mAh battery that can be charged with 44W.
