SAMSUNG GALAXY WATCH ACTIVE INTRODUCTION
Samsung is among the few companies to consistently release new wearables worldwide. Its most recent smartwatch to arrive on the market will be Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. Galaxy Watch Active has monitoring features for heart rate, sleep exercise, and stress, to name a few.
GALAXY WATCH ACTIVE DISPLAY, BODY & DESIGN
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Active has a simple design. It sports a 1.1-inch AMOLED display on top of an aluminum case. This AMOLED display’s resolution measures 360×360 pixels, and it’s bright as well as bright enough that it outside. The Watch features an auto-brightness mode that alters the display’s brightness according to the lighting conditions in the surrounding. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 will ensure that scratches are not visible on display. Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Active has two right and left buttons. The buttons provide excellent feedback on clicks.
Galaxy Watch Active sports a heart rate sensor. This smartwatch has a charging device with a charging cradle on one end and a USB Type-A on the other. The Galaxy Watch has different case colors: Silver, Black, and Green, along with Rose Gold, as well as eight options for the strap: Orange, Light Blue, White Yellow, Light Pink, Green, Black, and Light Grey.
The case lugs extend slightly. The Active should have enough to fit all 20mm-sized straps. Samsung offers two belts made of silicone with different lengths inside the box so that you can choose the most suitable for your wrist size.
SAMSUNG GALAXY WATCH ACTIVE SOFTWARE & PERFORMANCE
The Galaxy Watch Active has chosen to use the Exynos 9110 SoC to power the Galaxy Watch Active. It has an impressive 768MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It runs Samsung’s Wearable OS based on Tizen OS 4.0 rather than Google’s Wear OS.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active has a clear AMOLED display that’s sufficient brightness when outside. The Watch adjusts its illumination to the ambient lighting conditions. Two buttons that are on the device provide an excellent experience. The top button is used for returning to the user interface, while the second button displays the list of apps. The response to touch on the display is impressive, and you can easily navigate through the menu and launch apps.
OTHER FEATURES
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active is IP68 and MIL-STD-810G-certified with 5ATM water resistance. The smartwatch has a capacity of 230mAh, which Samsung claims can last 45 hours on one charge. It also supports Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, NFC, and GPS. It also supports GPS and NFC. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active can connect to the Bluetooth headset straight from the headset, which means you don’t have to carry your phone when you go on outings.
The Galaxy Watch Active works with iPhone and Android. This Galaxy Watch Active needs a companion application named Galaxy Wear to work. The additional Samsung Galaxy Health App is needed to track smartphone sleep data. Samsung states that Galaxy Watch Active can monitor blood pressure with a different app, My BP.
BATTERY
The Galaxy Watch Active has a 220mAh battery that provides impressive performance for a wearable gadget. With notifications for active apps and continuous monitoring of heart rates available, we got approximately three days’ battery life from the Watch. It brought the battery’s capacity from 0 to 34 percent in 30 minutes and 61 percent within one hour.
