Nokia X30 5G 5G is the most expensive Nokia phone currently available. This is the addition of an OLED panel – the first Nokia phone to have one since the Nokia 9 PureView in 2019.
It is a 6.43-inch 1080x2400px panel, with a 90Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness is 700. Gorilla Glass Victus covers it. The OLED display can be fitted with an Under display fingerprint scanner.
Although the phone comes with a metal frame body and 100% recycled aluminum, the rear panel is made from 65% recycled plastic.
The Nokia X30 5G has two cameras: a 50MP 1/1.56 inch sensor with a wide f/1.8 optically stabilized lens and an ultrawide 13MP 1/3.06 inches with an f/2.4 lens. These cameras come with Gorillas Glass Protection of the DX+ variety. The 16MP sensor of the selfie camera is not autofocused.
Nokia X30 5G has a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. It can be configured with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage (UFS 2.2 or 3.0). The microSDXC slot allows for further expansion. Nokia’s 3-3-3 Promise covers the X30 5G. Future owners will receive 3 years of OS updates, and security patches, as well as a 3-year warranty. This means that the Nokia X30 5G will be covered for at least until Android 15.
The phone uses a 4,200mAh battery that can be charged with 33W. Nokia claims that the battery will last at least 800 cycles.
The X30 5G is packaged in a smaller box made of 94% recycled paper. This is in keeping with the use of recycled materials in the body. You will receive the phone along with a USB cable but not a charger and no case. Interesting information is the IP67 rating, which measures dust and water resistance. You can also get an IR blaster – very cool! Globally, the Nokia X30 5G will be available starting today at EUR530 (or Rs42,000) base price. You can choose between Ice White or Cloudy Blue color options.
