Samsung Galaxy M13 5G Android 14 Update 2024: After releasing Android 14 and One UI 6.0 for its top and mid-range phones, Samsung is now releasing them for the Galaxy M13 5G, a cheaper phone. Starting with Indian users, the update brings several changes to the design and improvements to the app.
The Quick Panel will be streamlined to make it easier to get to settings that are used often. The emoji library will be updated to make conversation more expressive, and the default font will be updated to clarify things. The media player widget has also been updated with a dynamic waveform animation, and the lock screen clock widget now lets you choose from more size, style, and placement choices.
Samsung’s stock apps also get a makeover. For example, Gallery, Internet, Messages, Phone, and Reminders all get a new look. Some apps even removed the “Samsung” logo to make them look better. The built-in picture editor has controls that are easier to use to edit your photos, and there is a separate video editor called “Studio” for editing videos.
This is the second big update for the M13 5G since it came out with Android 12. The phone is now guaranteed two more extensive updates, increasing its eligibility to Android 16. It got Android 13 last year. To get the newest fix for your phone, all you have to do is go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
