Magic 6 Porsche Design Teased By Honor: After many rumors, Chinese tech giant Honor announced about a week ago that it would be working with the prestigious luxury design house Porsche Design. Today, the company shared a sample picture that hints at a smartphone resembling the famous Porsche 911 sports car.
The picture shows a smartphone with the standard Honor and Porsche Design logos placed on the back in a way that doesn’t draw attention to themselves. The much-anticipated Honor Magic 6 Porsche Design phone could be this one. It could come out in China as early as January.
It is said that the Magic 6 Porsche Design and the Magic 6 Pro will have the same basic specs. This means the phone might have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a quad-curved OLED screen, and a pill-shaped hole for the two front cameras.
The phone will also likely have a 160MP periscope macro lens and a 1-inch Omnivision OV50K sensor for the primary camera. Satellites that can talk back and forth could also be used.
But the teasing picture makes it look like the style of the phone, which might be based on the famous Porsche 911 sports car, is what makes it so appealing. But there are rumors that other gadgets that look like Porsche are being worked on.
There have been rumors that along with the Magic 6 Porsche Design, a limited edition folding Magic V3 could also be in the works. The style of this V3 is said to be based on the classic Porsche 911, just like the one that’s coming out soon. The phone is said to have a secret code name of “Honor 911,” and only 911 units are said to be made of this type.
