Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design Sporty Look Official: Today marks the first product from Honor’s relationship with Porsche Design, announced last month. The sports-themed Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design is lightweight and foldable. The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design has the same hardware as the Magic V2.
However, only the highest trim has 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. But the outside is quite different. The Porsche Design V2’s Agate Grey body has Porsche’s “Flyline” roofline, which slopes downward to the back. Flyline is all about aggression—the Magic V2 RSR’s rear shape appears fast even when it’s not.
The camera island has titanium alloy lettering like that of an ordinary phone. Yet, Honor boasts the phone has a ‘Sports car fiberglass body‘—we feel your confusion. Despite having the same magnesium alloy frame and titanium alloy hinge mechanism as the standard V2, the Honor Magic V2 RSR weighs 234g.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powers the Honor Magic V2 RSR’s 6.43-inch 1080p 120Hz LTPO OLED cover display and 7.92-inch 2156x2344px 120Hz inner display. 5,000mAh battery supports 66W wired charging. The triple camera system comprises a 50MP f/1.9 primary camera, 20MP f/2.4 2.5x zoom camera, and 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide camera with autofocus. The cover screen has a 16MP f/2.2 selfie camera.
The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design launches in China on January 12. It costs CNY 15,999 (€2,050/$2,250/£1,770/INR 190,000), which is reasonable for 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.
